7000 Trees
Research-orientated / Ethically-minded / Socially-aware
7000 Trees specialises in producing impactful, engaging research and creative practice across the arts and humanities. Working with charities, arts groups, academic institutions and cultural hubs, we utilise our background in the visual and sonic arts to conceive, develop, and present outcomes that truly stands out from the crowd.
Whether co-authoring papers for international journals, designing accessible materials for participatory art projects, or supporting grass-roots musicians to shoot their first music video, 7000 Trees offers bespoke solutions for documenting and framing our clients work.
With a background in participatory art and accessibility, as well as our experience producing forward-thinking qualitative research, we are passionate about helping to represent and promote a broad range of voices across the arts, academic, and charity sectors.

Visual data
Communicating the complexities of research requires novel, aesthetically-rich solutions to engage audiences. 7000 Trees not only undertakes original research - with a focus on qualitative, participatory, and accessible methodologies - but works to present research in a manner that results in the biggest impact.
fig 1. ‘Everyday Violence’ was a collaboration with a Brazilian choreographer whose work explored the social fractures of ‘everyday’ acts of sexism, racism, and homophobia. Building upon their original research, we produced an abstract, evocative data-driven video that would serve as a backdrop for their politically-charged performance practice.
