Warren ‘Kaninen’ Rasmussen is a Berlin-based composer, originally from the Faroe Isles. Having cut his teeth writing soundtracks for late-night Faroean television (including the acclaimed/maligned ‘Terror of the Mooncat’), Rasmussen moved to Berlin to live with his mother (Darmstadt alumni and John Cage protégé Torri Rasmussen).

Over the last few years, Rasmussen has been developing a series of soundtrack related works, often utilising pop-philosophy audio-books as inspiration and source. He is a studious performer of avant-garde and sound-art works, and regularly performs the works of Kagel, Cage, Neuhaus and others.

Since 2021, a documentary about his life has been in production, due for completion in 2026.
